Dear Resident,
✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅
The Pleck Neighbourhood Team, have been involved in a number of community based events and engagements. This includes meeting with local councillors and community volunteers, to talk about local issues and our future partnership.
Officers from the team have also visited all local Gurdwaras this week, to build trust and confidence. Also offer reassurances regarding local concerns around personal safety, which included contributions from other agencies.
Also over the past week our dedicated PCSO visited the Pleck Methodist Church, to drop in to a regular coffee morning, to provide reassurance and build strong community relationships.
Summary: After some concerns for a homeless person sleeping rough in the area of the Apna Ghar, Pleck. We are please to report that the person was in fact wanted for offences and has been detained in custody. This will give reassurance to local residents and allow the opportunity to support the homeless person when possible.
Following some anti social behaviour at Ramsay House, Pleck. Officers have been working with the local housing association to address issues with some of their tenants.
